Location

Bribie Island is unique. Conveniently located less than one hour from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, and just 45 minutes from Brisbane’s International and Domestic Airports. It has thousands of hectares of wallum heath, wetland, coastal forest and beach, largely protected within the Bribie Island National Park.

Less than 20% of the island will ever be built on, therefore the future population is capped meaning less crowds and a protected quality of life.

Location

There are not many places in Australia where you could buy affordable waterfront, canal front or golf land and still be located so close to a major capital city.  Pacific Harbour is approximately 60 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD and 45 minutes from Brisbane International Airport.  A further 30 minutes north and you reach the Sunshine Coast with a host of other beaches and activities to enjoy.

Bribie Island is located midway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.  Pacific Harbour boasts some of the best canal front land in Queensland.  It is the closest canal land to Brisbane with wide canals and direct ocean access.

Bribie Island is unique.  34 kilometres long and up to 8 kilometres wide, it has thousands of hectares of wallum heath, wetland, coastal forest and beach, largely protected within the Bribie Island National Park.

The coastline that faces the mainland travels around shady foreshores and sandy coves, mirrored in the stillness of the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park.  This is the only Queensland offshore island connected to the mainland by bridge.

The location is particularly unique for the amazing natural environment that is available or surrounding Bribie Island.  Much of the island itself is protected from development with either National Park status or government Crown Land or forestry.

Moreton Island is a very popular boating destination in south east Queensland and families love to spend their weekends frolicking around the sunken wrecks which is fantastic snorkeling.

Further offshore is Flinders Reef – Flinders Reef provides some of the best Game Fishing opportunities in Australia and is approximately one hour by boat from Pacific Harbour.  It is extremely rare to be able to reach such a hot spot so quickly.  The fact that there is no dangerous bar to cross from Bribie Island to reach the bay means that these wonderful assets are available any time of day as ocean access is not dictated by the tides.

Bribie Island has all essential services such as medical, major supermarket chains, restaurants, primary and high schools, child care and aged-care.  Caboolture is only 20 minutes away which is a major regional centre with hospitals, private schools and large shopping centres.
