Amenities
Bribie Island may be a world away from the mainland in attitude and lifestyle, but it has all the amenities of a larger urban centre. Facilities such as medical centres, schools, supermarkets and shopping centres combine with restaurants and art galleries to create an enriched living experience - right on the doorstep of nature. Local sporting and recreational clubs also offer an array of activities which cater for outdoor and creative pursuits. Including Pacific Harbour's own Golf & Country Club and future Marina Village.
The island's climate and landscape provide an ideal setting for all sporting interests. There are kilometres of shady bike and walking tracks, two golf courses, a swimming complex, and facilities for tennis, cricket, football and bowls. For the more creative, Bribie Island is home to a thriving arts community. Renowned artists such as Dale Marsh and Ian Fairweather have lived and worked on the island. Galleries such as the White Patch Gallery and the Community Arts Centre have contributed greatly to the flourishing arts scene.
