Beach Fishing
Bribie has over 30km of ocean beach accessible by 4wd from Woorim north to Fort Bribie. When the tailor are running, look for a deep gutter and you'll find plenty of action at dawn and dusk. If you're keen on a winter night this stretch also fishes well for decent sized jewfish. During the day there's good fishing virtually all year round in the gutters with locals targetting dart, flathead and whiting. Fresh bait is always the best and you'll find plenty of sand worms and pippy's at low tide.
